STOW, OH - Knievel Motorcycle Manufacturing Inc. (Knievel Cycles), the legendary custom motorcycle brand representing the Robert “Evel” Knievel legacy, has selected Avon Motorcycle Tyres North America (Avon Tyres) as the exclusive tire supplier for the company’s motorcycles.

“Our engineering and design teams have vast experience in hand-building quality custom-production motorcycles and are well respected in the motorcycle business,” stated Rob Myers, General Manager, Knievel Motorcycle Manufacturing. “Avon Tyre products are the perfect fit for our legendary brand. We are proud to have added Avon’s products to our Springer Bobber, Commemorative Bobber, Pro Street, Patriot Series Chopper, Commemorative Chopper, and Limited Series Snake River Canyon motorcycles.”

Knievel motorcycles are made in the United States in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania. The facility can produce up to 1,200 motorcycles a year and all meet or exceed Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. The company is one of only three United States motorcycle manufacturers that has achieved European Union approval for distribution of its motorcycles (excluding Limited Series Snake River Canyon) to all 27 countries in the European Union, and is the only one of the three that is privately owned.
