BIC Challenges 2011 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally Attendees to Shave for Charity


BIC® Flex4® razors is bringing the BIC 4 GOOD program to South Dakota’s 2011 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally with the BIC 4 GOOD Barbershop.
- August 4th through August 13th, BIC will continue their 2011 BIC 4 GOOD fundraising efforts by asking the nearly 500,000 estimated attendees at the 71st Sturgis Motorcycle Rally to shave their heads, mustaches, beards and goatees to raise funds for Sturgis’s own Kids & Chrome Foundation
- Kids & Chrome is a charity whose mission is to mobilize the generosity of the motorcycle community, enrich the lives of children and preserve the history of motorcycling.
- BIC will also be presenting the custom chopper built by Orange Country Choppers and featured on an episode of “American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior” in February 2011 to the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame
- Paul Teutel Sr. will visit the pop-up BIC 4 GOOD Barbershop on August 10th at Buffalo Chip Campground to encourage rally attendees to shave their heads and raise funds for charity as well as to show off the BIC Flex4 chopper in person

Garden Event Center at the Legendary Buffalo Chip Campground
Start rally week on a good note by supporting Kids & Chrome at their annual bash where BIC will unveil the OCC custom-made BIC® Flex4® Chopper. The bike will be on display at the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame for all to see following the rally.
BIC 4 GOOD Barbershop
Thursday, August 4 through Saturday, August 13 from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Buffalo Chip Campground, just south of the Main Stage
“Get Real. Get BIC.” Stop by the BIC 4 GOOD Barbershop at the Buffalo Chip Campground to raise money for Kids & Chrome. BIC will donate $40 for every head shaved at the barbershop, with a minimum guaranteed donation of $10,000, up to a maximum of $15,000. Going bald is good!

Meet Orange County Chopper owner and reality TV star, Paul Teutul Sr, who will be on hand to sign autographs, challenge rally goers to go bald for good, and to present the keys of a brand new OCC custom-designed BIC Flex4 Chopper to the grand prizewinner of the “Get Real. Get BIC.” national sweepstakes, that ran from April 1, 2011 through through June 30, 2011.
