Hot Bike Merch
So the other day I was in my office working on a tech article, when one of my bosses (I have many) walked into my office and shut the door—never a good sign.
So the other day I was in my office working on a tech article, when one of my bosses (I have many) walked into my office and shut the door—never a good sign. But to my surprise he pulled out a box and handed it to me as I opened it up I noticed inside the box was a really nice black lacquer case. So then I opened the case and inside that was even nicer watch. At this point most people would be excited at receiving a new watch, but the first thing that ran across my pessimistic mind was “Oh no, this it, I’m done, I had my chance and I blew it. Now there going to get someone younger, skinnier smarter and more detail oriented to take over my job, and this watch is my severance package.” But then it was explained to me that we had signed an exclusive deal with Steve Soffa and his Hardcore Watch Company, to have them design and produce a limited edition (750 units) HOT BIKE watch. This thing is really nice almost too nice for my tatted wrist. It features a pretty distinct joker on the face highlighted by Swarovski crystals in the collar and hat. Then to top it off it has an high gloss ebony case and stainless steel band. Basically it’s a nice mix between bling and blacked out. Huh, pretty cool!
Needless to say I was both relieved to still have my job, and excited about the new watch. But then again my conspiracy theory riddled mind started acting up again and as I thought to myself “Is he trying to tell me something? Has he been watching me? Does he know I’ve been getting in at a half past noon, and leaving 20 minutes after lunch? Maybe there’s some kind of secret camera or voice recorder in it that allow him to monitor my every move.”
And that’s how my brain works, someone gives me a really nice watch to help promote the HOT BIKE brand and I sit here and think the worse. I really need to get my head fixed.
By the way, thanks John.
