Each winter, the Southern California bike and car scene becomes buzzing with anticipation for the annual Mooneyes Car and Bike Show held in December at the Irwindale Speedway in Irwindale, California. This winter, the buzzing was more like rattling of the teeth as rain and cold temperatures hampered attendance. Mooneyes decide to create a whole new show called the Mooneyes Mother’s Day Show and Drag on Saturday May 10th, 2014. This time Mother Nature more than cooperated with near perfect temperatures. Bikes and cars filled the parking lot as the sound of open headers filled the background with each pass down the strip. Hot Bike Magazine came out to check out the scene, listen to some rockabilly music and check out the bikes.
