New Bolt-On Parts For Harley-Davidson And Indian From Arlen Ness
Arlen Ness makes and sells enough parts to make Ikea jealous. Not only that, Ness parts come with better instructions. They also look better on a motorcycle. No one’s in a great big hurry to make their scoot look like a college dorm room and that’s probably for the best.
Even with the full gamut of customization already available from the legendary shop, Ness still came up with some new designs for your consideration. With this being the time of year when lots of bikes find themselves under the knife in the garage for upgrades and whatnot, we thought we’d share some of the more recent additions to the Ness line.

The Method’s clear polycarbonate window allows you to view the inner workings of your throttle body and provides a clean look to the heart of your engine. That polycarbonate window is coated with proprietary films that prevent oil adhesion, yellowing, or marring from engine oil or UV exposure to maintain clarity so you can view your engine’s internals. Its filter is constructed from black pre-oiled cotton for the best in filtration and maximum airflow. These filters are washable/reusable for very long use. Both the backing plate and filter housing are forged from billet aluminum and then CNC machined. The backing plate features Ness’ hidden breather backing plate technology and a smooth radius air inlet for improved performance. Available in chrome, black anodized with contrast, and all-black anodized finishes, each kit includes a backing plate, forged filter housing, clear polycarbonate top, filter, gaskets, and necessary hardware.

New for 2018, the Method Riser line is constructed from forged billet aluminum and features machined windows and accent pockets to add style in a lightweight package. You can get it in 10-, 6-, and 2.5-inch sizes. Ness’ full line of adjustable handlebars and adjustable handlebar clamps allow you to adjust the bar to your specific riding style. The risers are CNC machined from forged billet aluminum for reduced weight and maximum strength. A CNC-machined recess on the bottom of each riser eliminates the need for a top cup washer or handlebar damper kit for a cleaner look and more positive feel.

Ness made these to eliminate flex and isolate vibration for smoother asphalt cruising. The cup washers in these kits are machined from 303 stainless steel then polished to a chrome-like finish. Moreover, proprietary polyurethane bushings add a more positive and rigid feel to the handlebar. Each kit includes polyurethane bushings, inner steel sleeves, and heavy-duty chrome cup washers.
