Orlando Harley-Davidson Hosts Bikers Against Child Abuse I-4 Motorcycle Ride and After-Party
Orlando, Fla. - On Sunday, Jan. 22, Orlando Harley-Davidson hosted a motorcycle ride along Interstate 4 to raise awareness of the Tri County Chapter of BIKERS AGAINST CHILD ABUSE® (BACA), a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help create a safer environment for abused children. Hundreds of riders took part in the charitable police escorted ride and after-party. “We are honored to have teamed up with BACA in an effort to put an end to child abuse,” said Anne Deli, President of Orlando Harley-Davidson. “We were happy to provide motorcycle enthusiasts with an opportunity to support BACA by raising awareness for this worthy cause. It was a fun and meaningful day!” The Tri County Chapter of BACA helps abused children in Central Florida by involving them with an established, united organization that is prepared to lend its physical presence and emotional support in order to shield them from further abuse. “This ride provided an opportunity to bring riders from all over the world to support one major and very important cause: helping to create awareness of the struggle to put an end to child abuse,” said Brook “Grumpy” Fay, the Tri County President of BACA. “No child should live in fear and we want the community to know that we are here to help.” An after-party event was also held at the Orlando Harley-Davidson Historic Factory Dealership with live music by The Pendletones, entertainment and food.
