Pro Builders Riding 2018 Hot Bike Tour Announced
Join the Pro Builders on epic ride in Arizona as part of 2018 GEICO Motorcycle Hot Bike Tour Coming to Arizona.
Hot Bike Pro- Builder Build-Off returns! This year we have 28 of the world’s top builders. The 2018 Hot Bike Invitational Bike Build-Off, held in conjunction with the GEICO Motorcycle Hot Bike Tour, happening October 2–6. The tour starts in Phoenix and winds its way through the Copper State in a loop with stops in Flagstaff, Pinetop, and then a special two-day stop in Cave Creek, Arizona.
Invited builders have to first build a fully custom machine. Bikes must be ridden each day from city to city—Joes and pros hitting the open road each morning as they head to the next tour stop. Every evening, the bikes are judged by event attendees via ballot boxes for a true People’s Choice competition and nightly Hot Bike Build-Off winners will be named. A People’s Choice champ will be named on day five, awarded to the top cumulative vote-getting Hot Bike pro builder. There will also be a Judges’ Pick champ, which will be judged by Paul Yaffe and other select judges.

So how does Hot Bike feel about the upcoming GEICO Motorcycle Hot Bike Tour and the Build-Off competitions?
“I’m stoked on the list of builders this year,” Hot Bike Editor-in-Chief Jordan Mastagni says. “We have several builders with varying styles, and I’m looking forward to a diverse mix of custom bikes on this year’s Hot Bike Tour.”
The Invitational Bike Build-Off is the only build-off with the innovative “build it and ride it” format. It is the ultimate test of man and machine, which creates loads of excitement and good times along this epic riding tour.
Ride-In Bike Show!
So while evening attendees are busy judging the work of our Build-Off builders, our magazine staffs and a panel of professional builders will be cruising the Ride-In Show at each of the five GEICO Motorcycle Hot Bike Tour stops and choosing their favorite machines.
