The Reign Is Over #elreyhotbike – 2015 Harley-Davidson Road King
It’s almost time to take my 2015 Harley-Davidson Road King #elreyhotbike back to the bone yard from which it came. I’ll be honest. It was really nice to hop right on a bike, turn the ignition switch, hit the starter button, and take off knowing the bike is capable of going 10 to 10,000 miles. It really got me thinking it might be time to add to the personal bike corral and pony up and finally buy me a brand-new motorcycle.
I have my fully custom Vicla that’s show and road ready. Now that that project is finally done and ready for Sunday shows and cruises, my attention has been refocused to the daily grind and hustle of everyday riding.
In 2014 big H-D’s Project Rushmore totally revolutionized their line of motorcycles, and after being fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to ride all of them, I feel they are in fact that much better of a machine and worth the extra money to buy new.

I’ll be doing a full review of the 2015 Road King soon, but in short this bike is really fun to ride. Different people look for different things, but if I was going to purchase this bike, it better pay off big in smiles per mile.
There’s still a few days left in my test ride of the Road King, and with each moment I’m on it the decision leans that much more to the “buy it now” button. To buy or to build is probably the most difficult question that we as riders face. Why? Why can’t I be super rich and have them all? Ha!
