It clamps down on the sides and then slings the phone down with silicone netting that is claimed to be tougher than rubber and stretches four times its size. This claw and net design can hold phones that are 3-5/8 inches wide and is easy to mount to your handlebar. One caveat is that this is most appropriate for Harleys, tourers, and standard motorcycles.
