What Harley-Davidson Gear Would You Buy With Willie G.’s Credit Card?
You were the first on your block to buy the 2018 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob 114, the topic of discussion every time riding buddies gather at your man cave. The bike and its upgrades cost you $20K, but your riding gear needs a major overhaul, pal. For grins’ sake, a friend hands you his Harley-Davidson Signature Visa card and tells you to “have fun.”
But what Harley gear would you buy if that friend was the legendary Willie G. Davidson, grandson of co-founder William A. Davidson and Chief Styling Officer Emeritus, who brought us the 1971 FX Super Glide, the 1977 FXS Low Rider, and the 1977 XLCR Sportster?

The odds of this happening are slim (but not impossible!), but let’s take this hypothetical journey together. Here are my choices if Willie G.’s credit card ended up in my hands for an hour or so:

My beady brown eyes may or may not appreciate the protection of these goggles, but, man, they look awesome.

As much as I wanted to pick a classic full-leather jacket, practicality whispered in my ear and said, “Go for versatility, boss.”

I like the Euro look of these gloves, and they pair well with the Rutland jacket. Subtle but legit.

If that price tag stings, remember two things: Going down at speed hurts even more, and Willie G.’s got you covered (as does the full Kevlar liner).

These are the most stylish boots in the Harley catalog, in my opinion, with soles made for walking.

Who calls themself a devoted Harley owner without having one of these to show off at rallies?

The price for looking good and riding protected? A cool $1,902, but don’t worry: Willie G.’s got this one. I’ll chip in an extra dollar to make it an even 1903, the year his grandpappy and three other pals started the company 115 years ago.
