Old Harleys have always been in my life, so when I found a 1947 Knuckle in El Paso there was no way I was going to let it slip by me, especially since I had already missed out on a 1950 Panhead from the same dealership.<\/p>\n<p>With my buddy Pedro Andres help, we were off to El Paso. After a month of short runs on it and a bad wiring job, I decided to find someone to help me fix it right.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s when Johnny Galvan entered my life. Johnny owns Kool Daddy Motorcycle in Austin and specializes in old Harleys. After a break down of the motor we decided to start from scratch and do it right. Johnny went through the whole motor and I did all the metal fab work. It took us four and half years because I didn\u2019t have the kind of money needed especially because how expensive Knuckle part are.<\/p>\n<p>In the end it was all worth it.
