FORGED: Twitch Heads Up Indian Motorcycle’s Custom Build Program in 2025

The 2025 Indian Motorcycle FORGED Series is back—and this time, it’s going big. Real big. Indian Motorcycle tapped freestyle motocross icon and longtime V-twinner Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg, to step out of his comfort zone and into the builder’s circle for the very first time as this year’s FORGED host. The platform? The Chieftain PowerPlus—a muscle bagger with the kind of attitude that’s been rewriting the rules of the V-twin game.

Joining Twitch in this year’s FORGED Series are two of the most respected names in the custom V-twin world: Satya Kraus of Kraus Motor Co and Kyle Bertsch from Forever Rad. Together, this trio will push the limits of what a bagger can be by focusing on style, function, and full-throttle performance.

Twitch isn’t new to custom bikes, but until now, he’s always had someone else spin the wrenches. “For me, I’ve always had someone build a bike for me,” Twitch admits. “But this year, I figured, why not do one myself? And what better platform than with the Chieftain PowerPlus?”
With its 112 cubic inches of liquid-cooled performance, this V-twin is anything but your granddad’s geezer glide. “Baggers used to be about comfort and long rides,” Twitch says. “Now they’re like muscle cars. They’ve gotta perform, scrape floorboards, do burnouts… hell, we’re racing them now.”

Twitch is no stranger to V-twin motorcycles. From dialing in suspension to experimenting with Barnstorm Cycles mid-controls, his goal is to make his Chieftain PowerPlus feel more like a dirt bike: higher stance, tighter geometry, and aggressive ergonomics.
With previous FORGED builds based on the Scout and Sport Chief platforms, 2025 marks the first time the Chieftain PowerPlus takes center stage.
Twitch is all in.

“I’m stoked to be building this bike,” he says. “It’s been a learning experience—text threads with Seth [Brisson] and [Carey] Hart that are a mile long. But I’ve got the shop now, I’ve got the time, and I’m pumped to figure it all out.”
Twitch is blending moto-inspired upgrades with performance-driven bagger essentials: carbon fiber accents, reworked swingarms, tighter bag fitment, and marine-style underglow lighting for night rides. “Less is more,” he says. “But it still has to go faster, be louder, and look better than my buddies’ bikes.”
The build talent behind this year’s FORGED lineup is stacked. Satya Kraus, known for engineering high-performance parts for American V-twins, is bringing his precision and race-born design to the table. And Kyle Bertsch from Forever Rad—an underground favorite for his raw, street-functional style—is throwing his hat into the ring with his own signature blend of modern classic aesthetics.
“These guys are my friends,” Twitch says. “And they’re also the dudes whose parts I already love to run. So now I get to watch them build and steal ideas in real-time.”

This isn’t just about building pretty bikes for social media. Twitch, Satya and Kyle are putting together machines that perform. From re-engineered swingarms to upgraded braking systems, and from suspension swaps to subtle frame tweaks, these Chieftains are being transformed into leaner, meaner street weapons.
“For me, comfort means something different,” Twitch says. “Being taller, I want the bike to sit higher. I want more lean angle. I ride a lot of backcountry roads—two-lane stuff—so the PowerPlus motor is perfect. It’s smooth, powerful, and the chassis just feels solid. There’s no wobble, no flex.”
The moto background runs deep in this year’s FORGED program. Seth Brisson, who first met Twitch through Monster Energy demo events over a decade ago, is lending a helping hand throughout the build. “Jeremy’s not a trained builder,” Seth says, “but he has a super mechanical mindset. He’s just never had the time to do this until now.”
And that’s the magic behind this year’s FORGED series: merging motocross energy with V-twin culture. These builds are as much about identity as they are about engineering. “Customization is about showing your style,” Twitch explains. “I want to show up and have people say, ‘Damn, I need to do that to my bike.’”
As the 2025 Indian Motorcycle FORGED custom program unfolds, HotBike.com will be following each builder’s journey—from concept to completion. With Twitch leading the charge alongside Kraus and Forever Rad, this year’s series promises to deliver some of the most exciting performance bagger builds yet.
