First Look: Original Garage Moto Adjustable Shift Levers for Harley-Davidson

Sometimes the smallest changes to a motorcycle can make the biggest difference in how it feels from the saddle. Original Garage Moto is taking that approach to the Harley-Davidson shift controls with its new line of OG Adjustable Shift Levers, designed to give riders considerably more control over shifter position, feel, and ergonomics.
Available soon, the new OG levers will be offered in configurations for both Milwaukee-Eight Softail and Harley-Davidson Touring models.
For 2018-to-present M8 Softails, the setup consists of an adjustable toe shift lever that allows riders to independently fine-tune both the overall lever length and shift-tip angle. That means instead of adapting your foot position to the factory shift lever, you can position the lever around your preferred riding position, footwear, and control setup.

As we’ve come to expect from Original Garage Moto, this isn’t simply a stock-style replacement with a little extra adjustment built in. The lever is CNC-machined from premium 6061-T6 aluminum and features a distinctly more aggressive, performance-oriented appearance that should look right at home on today’s performance Softails.
Touring riders get even more adjustability.
The OG Adjustable Shift Levers Complete Kit for Harley-Davidson Touring models includes both an adjustable toe shifter and adjustable heel shifter. Each provides adjustable length and shift-tip angle, allowing riders to tailor both sides of the heel-toe setup to their individual riding position.
OG also addresses some of the unwanted movement found in the factory Touring shift assembly. Each complete kit includes a precision-machined billet shift-shaft spacer with an integrated rubber seal designed to eliminate excess play and create a tighter, more precise shifting feel.
The Touring toe and heel shifters will also be available separately for riders who don’t need—or want—the complete heel-toe arrangement.
Both versions include stainless-steel hardware and will be available in OG’s range of anodized colors as well as chrome finishes. The Softail version fits most 2018-to-present Milwaukee-Eight Softail models, excluding bikes equipped with forward controls, while the Touring setup fits most 2009-to-present FLHT, FLHR, FLHX, FLTRX, FLTRU, FLHTCU and related models.
For riders who obsess over control position and cockpit ergonomics, these are exactly the kind of details that matter.
