Stoney’s Resurrection
I picked up ‘Stoney’ a couple of years ago from the family of the original owner. The bike was the pride and joy of Mr. Bob Stone who took delivery of it at Laconia bike week from Willie G. I attached pictures of Bob taking delivery from Willie G. and of him. signing the inside of the trunk. Sadly, Bob passed away from cancer and the bike sat in storage for some time. A family member got the bike out and rode it for a time, but never managed to put many miles on it. After learning of his intent to sell, I was hot on the trail to make the purchase. After a few gaskets and some routine maintenance, ‘Stoney’ is back on the road. I would love to have the picture of the bike published in Bob’s honor.
