6 New Motorcycle Goodies At Hot Bike
Life is tough here at Hot Bike. Not only do we have to test the latest motorcycles from the OEMs, customize them and trick ’em out, but we also have to keep a pulse on the aftermarket scene and check out all the rad parts you gearheads are considering putting on your bikes. All right—things could be much worse.
This batch of gear incorporates some ergonomic pieces like risers and pedals from Kraus and HardDrive, as well as a Rekluse clutch, caliper from Ness, a 2-into-1 pipe from S&S, and an upgraded LED headlight from Drag Specialties. So if you’re looking for something to make your bike a little more unique, fit you better, or rip a little harder, you need look no further.
The Kickback moves the bars 1-1/2 inches toward the rider and features a solid one-piece center section for structural integrity. The Kickback riser also incorporates rubber bushings in the clamp body for vibration damping. The Kickbacks measure 1-1/8 inches or 1 inch to fit multiple OEM Harley models and custom applications.
This headlamp offers increased visibility, safety, and durability compared to stock lamps, and features a 1,200-lumen-output high beam and 500-lumen-output low beam. The headlamp, with its H4-style connector, is easy to install, and is DOT compliant.
TorqDrive provides more clutch discs in less space, delivering auto function within the framework of the stock clutch. The RadiusX features solid clutch engagement that allows you to launch or stop in gear without using the clutch lever. Rekluse claims the TorqDrive clutch pack delivers higher torque capacity and increased power transfer.
Flo Motorsports’ moto-style footpegs have raised the bar with these adjustable shift and brake arms for FXD, FXR, and XL models. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, the durable and lightweight shift and brake arms give the rider a three-position adjustment for optimal reach of the peg. Arms come with a Flo Moto toe peg in a classic black finish.
Cooling fins are machined into the inner caliper halves to help disperse heat. Compatible with ABS and non-ABS applications for multiple Harley models running 11.8-inch rotors, each caliper includes DP brake pads, a bleeder screw, a banjo bolt, sealing washers, mounting hardware, and a shim kit.
Merging a full-flow stainless header into a highly engineered collector culminating in a 4-1/2-inch muffler, the new Sidewinder also includes its removable decibel-reducer baffle for tuning sound and backpressure, and the Sidewinder is available in 49-state EPA-compliant and race versions (CARB model coming soon) in both chrome and black ceramic for 2017–’18 H-D touring models.
