Buell Super Cruiser Coming to Sturgis 2024!

You may have been thinking to yourself, “Self, what is going on with Buell’s new Super Cruiser and are they still comign out with this bike?” Good news: The answer is yes, and the updated version that is probably as close to the production version that they will be releasing to the public will be coming to Sturgis for all to see and touch in the metal. Test rides? Most likely not, but you’ll be able to see it, hear it, form your own opinion for yourself of what Buell has been up to since releasing the RSD Super Cruiser concept a little over a year ago.

In fact, the Super Cruiser has been going through rigorous performance assessments on the dyno to ensure the bike doesn’t overheat. These tests ensure the heat rejection of the oil cooler and radiator is larger than the heat rejection of the engine, essentially confirming that the engine is never running hotter than the oil cooler and radiator. The thermal points were used to pick up surface temperatures so Buell could determine how much heat was being soaked into the fuel, etc.

Buell will have a presence at Sturgis for the next two weeks. Riders are welcome to come by and chat with Buell team members at the following locations from August 2-10:
- Downtown Sturgis (across from J&P Cycles)
- Black Hills Harley-Davidson
Buell staff will be on-hand to answer the many questions you may have about the new Super Cruiser or other Buell models available. You’ll also be able to get a first look at Buell’s production-intent prototypes firsthand, and get the latest development updates from the same guys and gals who make everything happen at Buell.
