White Plate Racing Association is very proud to announce that Bill Tuman and Bobby Hill will honor the “Pappy Hoel Classic” half mile as Grand Marshalls for the Monday August 8th Professional race. Bill and Bobby were part of Indian Motorcycles legendary “Wrecking Crew” that dominated The National Motorcycle racing circuit through the late 1940’s and early 1950’s. Both men were good friends of Pappy Hoel and helped to create the World Class reputation of The Sturgis Half Mile. The National Pro’s-Top National racing teams and now two of the greatest racers in history-this year’s “Pappy Hoel Classic” will be the greatest race Sturgis has ever seen. Monday August 8th and Tuesday August 9th. Gates open at 10 AM.
