Draggin’ Jeans Classic Fit Jeans
Road rash defense without the road racer look.
By Jeff G. Holt
These made-in-the-USA jeans were built for riding. Sure, they have that classic five-pocket design and are made out of 14.5-ounce denim like your favorite daily dungarees, but that is where the similarities stop. Draggin’ Jeans up the ante by installing 13.5-ounce DuPont Kevlar from the belt loops to below the buttocks from hip to hip giving you some über protection if your booty ever hits the tarmac. The jeans also have some major knee and shin protection, making these pants pretty impervious to road rash. Also, if you want to get geared up even more, removable hip and knee armor can also be bought for them at $26.95 per area. After I received my pair, I noticed that they were both prewashed and preshrunk. I tried them on and found them to fit pretty true to my Levi’s 501s, which was a real good thing. Once I threw a leg over my bike, I found the jeans to be comfy and not restricting at all. Even though they had a bunch of extra fabric and protection to them, they felt like a pair of pants I have been wearing for years. I have been sporting them daily as of late, and to tell you the truth I like the fit and love the protection. The best part is I don’t have to get all leathered up or look like I just raced a Moto GP if I want some added ass defense.
