Feuling Vented Dipstick for M8 Baggers First Look

Feuling’s Vented Dipstick is a small part with a big job: helping Milwaukee-Eight baggers breathe better. Built for 2017–2025 M8 baggers, this polished-cap dipstick replaces the factory oil fill dipstick and adds a crankcase ventilation system designed to reduce unwanted pressure in the oil tank.
The Feuling Vented Dipstick uses a PCV-style breather setup with an oil separator system, perforated disc, replaceable filter element and umbrella flapper valve. The idea is to let excessive crankcase pressure escape from the oil tank instead of building up inside the engine. Feuling says this helps remove unwanted blow-by pressure and can result in lower engine oil sump levels, smoother revving, increased MPG and reduced blow-by.
The kit gives riders two venting options. Option one uses a 1/8 NPT breather vent fitting with an internal porous filter element for a cleaner look, though Feuling notes it can create some oil misting on engines with excessive blow-by. Option two uses a quick-disconnect coupler fitting with rubber hose and filter element, which Feuling says breathes more and is its preferred setup, though the fitting must be disconnected to check the oil.

This dipstick also includes two ways to check hot oil level: FHS for Full Hot Stand when the bike is on the jiffy stand, and FHU for Full Hot Upright when the bike is level. Feuling warns not to overfill the oil tank and recommends checking the oil after the bike has reached operating temperature.
At $299.95, the Feuling Vented Dipstick is aimed at riders who are serious about keeping their M8 bagger running clean and happy, especially big-inch or harder-ridden engines that tend to build more pressure. It is a functional oiling-system upgrade disguised as a polished billet dipstick.
