Highlights from the 2018 David Mann Chopperfest
The 14th Annual David Mann Chopperfest opened on February 4 without a hitch. The sunny Ventura, California, motorcycle show is one of the premier events of the year because it kind of kicks the rally season into gear on the West Coast.
Dave Mann Chopperfest’s goal is to carry on the legendary David Mann’s legacy by hosting a party and inviting a group of talented artisans of all forms—custom motorcycle builders, painters, sculptors, and more—to come together and showcase their latest creations. Real people who think outside the box and who can translate those thoughts into visual beauty both functional and artistic. Originally the brainchild of David “Huggie” Hansen, Chopperfest became much more than a showcase for futuristic motorcycle design when Mann passed away in September 2004. Bike builders from across the nation came to both honor Mann at his passing and welcome the birth of his signature event.
Chopperfest is forever dedicated to the design, function, and art of the motorcycle through those talented enough to create and those creative enough to appreciate talent. And the talent was definitely on display at the 2018 David Mann Chopperfest. Enjoy!

The overall winner of Chopperfest, Ryan Grossman, grabs his dough for his efforts.
