**Describe yourself in three words? **
Fun, direct, passionate.
**Why the motorcycle industry? **
Why not? It’s another form of hot rodding and the sound of any hot engine gets my blood pumping. On top of that it’s just plain fun!
**What do you see in the industry’s crystal ball? **
Baggers are seriously popular, but now it seems you have everything from antique restorations to choppers and trikes. The possibilities are endless.
**What is your greatest accomplishment? **
Creating a company from an idea to reality with a tremendous amount of help from others.
Favorite all-time motorcycle?
Any with two or three wheels. And I still think of my Airel Square Four every now and then.
**Who inspires you? **
God and patriotic Americans.
**What’s your biggest regret? **
Not being more understanding of others earlier in my life.
**What is your proudest moment? **
Missing the guy in the pickup truck who slammed on his brakes when I wasn’t paying attention and I lived to tell about it.
**Favorite place on Earth? **
Behind the handle bars in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.
Biggest pet peeve?
People who forget that good manners never go out of style.
What are you currently working on?
New product development that exceeds today’s technology.
