ANAMOSA, Iowa - For the second year, J&P; Cycles® is returning to its roots by hosting the first Motorcycle Parts Swap Meet of the season! Hundreds of motorcycle and car enthusiasts will gather for each event, which will kick off the 2011 season on Sunday, May 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The events will be held at J&P; Cycles® in Anamosa, Iowa to buy, sell and swap parts, accessories and experiences.

J&P; Cycles® has a rich history with swap meets – it’s how J&P;® owners John and Jill Parham originally got their business off the ground! The Motorcycle Parts Swap Meet is a unique celebration of food, fun, value and the entrepreneurial spirit. Additional dates for this year’s events are: Sunday, July 17 and Sunday, Sept. 18. The general public is welcome to attend these free events and vendors are being sought.

“Swap Meets have always been near and dear to my heart,” said John Parham. “Working to get J&P; Cycles off the ground, a simple flyer with parts we had available was what we now call the first official J&P; catalog. It all started because of our swap meet adventures. I am excited to bring them back and hope the public enjoys it as much as I always have,” he adds.
