- Here’s the sissy bar in all its blackness. It comes complete with the detachable latches needed to affix it to the bike.

- For comfort’s sake, a black backrest pad was installed onto the sissy bar.

The folks at Harley-Davidson have made it easy for riders to have both versatile and good-looking sissy bar/backrest solutions. Whether it be on a bagger, Softail, Dyna or Sportster, most are easy to install and in a short amount of time.
For our 2010 Iron 883 Sporty we went with a one-piece detachable sissy bar (part #51146-10) as well as a Passenger Backrest Pad (part #52631-07) and Docking Hardware Kit (part #53544-04). Here’s how it all came together.
