Unlike my relationship history, dredging up Hot Bike’s past is actually a good idea. We do it every issue to remind ourselves (and yourselves) just how far the industry has come (or hasn’t, in some cases) since we launched in 1971. Back then, Hot Bike was the performance arm of the one-two punch comprised of both itself and Street Chopper. If a part or a how-to made a bike go faster or ride smoother, chances are we ran the story on it in Hot Bike.
