**Mean Machine**
Located in Steeler country, Tim Blythe of Monaca, Pennsylvania, couldn’t resist building his own blacked-out, steel curtain. Based on an ’09 Street Glide, Tim wasted no expense on his menacing beast. The engine was punched up to 103 ci and features Big Boys heads and 575 RedShift cams, and breathes through a hi-temp coated Martin Bros 2-into-1 exhaust. Getting all that power to the road is handled by a set of Hog Pro wheels, 21-inch front and a 17-inch rear. The body was built up with CamTech’s stretched gas tank and side panels, Top Shop carbon fiber extended bags and rear fender, and an FBI dash and front spoiler. Tim finished off the project with a high gloss, sinister black paintjob by Nonce in Ellwood, Pennsylvania.

**Punched-Up Dyna**
Rick Hassley from Wilmington California, says he loves the magazine and wanted to show the readers his ’94 Custom Dyna Low Rider. Custom painted by Gerard out of Canoga Park, California, the Dyna has an 88ci engine with S&S; Jugs, Edelbrock ported and polished heads with big stainless valves, a .580 lift cam by Dave Mackie, Jims roller valve train, JE 10:1 pistons, Mikuni HSR 42 carb, BUB drag pipes with performance baffles, an Ultima programmable single-fire electronic ignition with coil and wires, and much more. Rick says his engine produces 90 hp with 96 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm. He says wherever he goes, it’s just a matter of twisting the throttle and hanging on.

**In Tune**
This is “lpiazza’s” 2008 Heritage Softail. “lpiazza” tells us he purchased his Softy new in October of 2007 at Texas Harley-Davidson. Since that time he’s added a D&D; exhaust, H-D Screamin’ Eagle Heavy Breather, and an H-D Super Tuner. And in the ergonomics department he added V-Twin 10-inch risers and 12-inch pull pack drag bars. But what “lpiazza” is most proud of is the fact that after Ed, the owner of The Dyno Difference, dyno-tuned his bike, the 96-incher put out 80 hp and 93 lb-ft of torque pounds of torque.

**Torn Between Two Bikes**
Scott Voss lives in New Braunfels, Texas, aka Texas Hill Country, aka Biker Paradise—according to Scott. Scott was torn between the CVO Convertible Softail and CVO Street Glide, so he decided to build his own version of a CVO Street Glide. He ditched the mini front fairing/windscreen and leather saddlebags and installed a Reckless Motorcycles fairing with a killer stereo and Sumax Bigass Bags. Then to tie back into the original bike, David Voss in San Antonio perfectly color-matched the new parts to the CVO Convertible’s Maple Metallic and Roman Gold with Burnished Copper graphics paint scheme.

**Sweet Ride**
“Actually, the most interesting thing about my bike is my 55-year-old wife sitting on it” says Lee Robinson from West Linn, Oregon. “But here’s a little info about my bike, it’s an ’07 Thunder Mountain Custom Softail. I added a Heartland quick release passenger seat so I can take my wife out on it as much as possible. The rear of the bike has a 240mm tire and it rolls on Performance Machine Gasser wheels. At the heart is a Screamin’ Eagle 103ci engine, and I ported out the throttle body, added high-performance cams and a Race Tuner to push it to 110 horses on the dyno. I also added a six-speed transmission, so it’s great for cruising. The frontend has been swapped out for a Perse Performance unit and the custom paint was done by Jason Prowty here in Portland, Oregon. Thanks for showing my bike.”
