Buell Super Cruiser Arrives at Daytona Bike Week
Buell Motorcycle Company’s highly-anticipated Super Cruiser prototype just hit the mean streets of Daytona Bike Week at Teddy Morse’s Destination Daytona, and people are already starting to flock in droves.
We were invited to ride the new Buell prototype next week and we eagerly await the chance to throw a leg over this performance cruiser that pretty much broke the internet when Roland Sands Design released the concept version of the Super Cruiser just over a year ago.
Since then, Buell has been steady making progress homologating RSD’s concept version into a production reality, which is no small feat to achieve given the bullshit production manufacturers have to go through, thanks to the bureaucratic agencies and differences in safety and emissions standards from all over the globe. Buell is still targeting a 2025 model year for the actual production version of the Super Cruiser to be released, but no details have been shared on exact release dates at this time. For now, Buell will be increasing its awareness for eager cruiser enthusiasts looking for the ultimate blend in performance and comfort with its new prototype mule at Bike Week.
From our perspective, everything looks pretty close to the concept. We’re curious to see what these babies look like in-person. So far, we like the retention of the similar lines and components from the concept, and we’re eager to ride this beauty next week. Stay tuned for more info coming soon.
