FORGED: Satya Kraus Builds a Sleek Indian Chieftain PowerPlus for UFC’s Cody Garbrandt

Indian Motorcycle’s FORGED Series—hosted by FMX icon Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg—paired iconic personalities with elite bike builders to reimagine Indian’s all-new 2025 Chieftain PowerPlus. In this third and final reveal of this year’s program, Satya Kraus of Kraus Motor Co., was paired with UFC Champ, Cody Garbrandt to push the limits of a performance bagger design.

Cody Garbrandt may be known across the globe for his lightning-fast hands and fierce presence inside the UFC Octagon, but outside the cage, the former bantamweight champion finds peace and purpose in the saddle of a motorcycle. Riding delivers a different kind of focus and freedom—a side of Garbrandt that fans rarely witness. Through Indian Motorcycle’s FORGED custom motorcycle program, the pro fighter has now been outfitted with a machine that reflects his hard-hitting style and relentless mindset.
“My riding style is kind of like my fighting style,” Garbrandt said. “Everything I do in life is to the redline—pushing it to the barrier.”
Kraus took that statement literally, designing a bare-knuckle bagger that’s aggressive, fearless, and unapologetically fast.

“This bike is a straight street ripper,” said Kraus. “There’s no bullshit. No glossy paint. No fancy ‘this or that.’ It’s classy, but it’s mean, and it’s all about business.”
This Chieftain PowerPlus was engineered to perform under pressure. Kraus outfitted the bike with:
- BST forged carbon fiber wheels
- Kraus KR8 inverted front end with Öhlins Racing suspension
- Billet aluminum Kraus brake calipers with stock Indian Motorcycle rotors
- One-off stainless steel exhaust by FAB28 Industries
- Saddlemen custom seat
- Moto-style stainless bars and risers with the Hart Luck Kraus pull-back plate
- Denali LED lighting and custom “No Love” derby cover

Chopped saddlebags keep the bike compact and aggressive, enhancing its street-ripping stance. Every component was carefully selected not just to perform, but to embody Garbrandt’s no-compromise attitude.
Beyond building a personal bike for a UFC champion, the project gave Kraus and his team the opportunity to develop and prototype a new wave of aftermarket parts for Indian’s latest bagger platform.

“We’re working closely with Indian and others in the industry to make sure we have a strong aftermarket product set for these bikes,” said Kraus. “This project gave us the opportunity to dial in every detail.”
The FORGED custom build series is a six-part video documentary that highlights three completely different interpretations of the 2025 Indian Chieftain PowerPlus—each created by top builders and inspired by the personalities of pro skater Ryan Sheckler, singer/songwriter Tyler Hubbard, and now, UFC Fighter, Cody Garbrandt.
With the all-new Chieftain PowerPlus, Indian Motorcycle is redefining what’s possible in the American V-Twin bagger market. The platform features bold, muscular styling, state-of-the-art rider-assist technology, and the race-proven PowerPlus 112 engine—an all-new evolution of Indian’s performance V-twin lineup.
