As its eighth music compilation to date, the new Icons Rock features a wide range of artists that will perform at the 105th event. The aim of the play list was to reconnect people with the icons most folks have grown up listening to, but the play list also treasures the music of tomorrow.

Some of the legendary and new artists include Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, Joan Jett, Los Lonely Boys, Peter Frampton, Black Rebel MotorCycle Club, War, Three Days Grace, Blue Oyster Cult, Blind Melon, Big Head Todd, War, and Dierks Bentley.
