Paramount Custom Cycles Roadster – Off The Line
Paramount Custom Cycles RoadsterReno, NV, “the biggest little city in the world,” is home to many fine gaming establishments, luxurious skiing and snowboarding resorts in nearby Lake Tahoe, and the hilarious satirical reality show about the Reno Sheriff’s Department, Reno 911, but most importantly to us in the V-Twin world, Reno is home to Paramount Custom Cycles.
Aaron Greene, owner of the the Paramount operation, has been in the game for quite some time now, and he’s introduced one of the coolest production machines on the market today for just under $20,000. Given the moniker “entry-level,” the Roadster is no wimpy little machine. In fact, the rigid frame, which is stretched one inch in the downtubes, houses a 107-inch S&S; powerplant in Paramount’s own Roadster chassis. The Prowler six-speed trans shifts the power effortlessly from the Harley-Davidson primary to the rear Xtreme Machine wheel wrapped in Metzeler 180mm rubber. Once you hit those top speeds, the Brembo braking system brings the Roadster to a screeching halt. Paramount cuts and forms the Roadster’s sheetmetal in-house and incorporates heim-style axle adjusters that are cut from high-grade stainless steel, then polishes and decorates it in a matte or gloss finish available in black, red, grey, and blue color schemes. You might have to fork over some extra scratch for a custom paint job like the one pictured here.

Swift Motorcycles The PunisherWhile traveling cross-country on one of your many excursions, you’ve probablyencountered a Swift Transportation semi somewhere along the way. Swift has ventured into producing motorcycles, and we’re noticing a lot more of their bikes on the road as well. These people are taking over the world!
The Punisher (featured here), Swift Motorcycles’ flagship production bike, weighs around 640 lbs, making it one beefy pro-street. However, The Punisher’s Daytec frame is set up to handle the mass because it utilizes two-inch frame tubing. The Punisher has no problem carrying the weight of the 117-inch S&S; motor accompanied by the Primo right-side-drive six-speed tranny and Primo chain drive. The Punisher probably won’t have a problem carrying you, unless you’re one of those gargantuan motorcycling twins from the Guinness Book of World Records.
