Tres Noir Death or Glory Optics | Used and Abused

I am very picky when it comes to eyewear. I don’t want to walk around looking like there is some sort of alien sitting on my face nor do I want to look like the late great Randy “Macho Man” Savage when I go for a ride. I just want a simple pair of glasses without a ton of bells and whistles, yet something that provides good coverage and major amounts of wind resistance. I had heard of Tres Noir from a friend of mine, and when I saw its offerings online, I knew I liked the way they looked, but buying without trying them on first was a bit of a gamble. I decided to bite the bullet and order up a set of the company’s Death Or Glory specs with clear lenses for night riding. When I got the glasses a day later I pulled them out of the packaging and was impressed by the quality of the acetate frames and polycarbonate lenses. The real key for me regarding this eyewear came when I put them on my face and found the fit to be stellar. When riding, the Death Or Glory glasses kept all of the wind out of my eyes even at illegal speeds and I even grew to like the clear lenses during my daylight rides.
