Hometown Hogs
I saw several custom Night Train builds in your magazine, and it inspired me to build my own custom. I purchased a completely stock 2009 Harley-Davidson Night Train a little over a year ago. I just recently turned 26 years old and began building my bike into what I envisioned it to be. Hot Bike has taught me a lot, and I just wanted to say thank you for the inspiration.

I crashed my bike in March 2015. My wife and I worked hard and finally got it all back together, and people seem to be pretty impressed with the results. Thought maybe it could be Hot Bike material now that it’s finished. Besides all the work we did to a brand-new 2014 Dyna, there’s a great story behind the crash.

Here is my 2006 Road King. It has a Bad Dad front and rear fender, dash, chin spoiler, 4-inch bag extensions, and taillights. It also has Eddie Trotta fork sliders, lid latches, exhaust tips, floorboards, air cleaner, shifter peg, brake pedal, point, and derby cover.
The exhaust is a 35 x 4 inches Samson, with a Danny Gray seat and tank extension. It also has a 23-inch RC Components Czar wheel, HHI 6-degree triple tree, Ness horn, Trask 14-inch Bro Bars. I also added a 1-inch lowering kit. The paint is by Dominick Bowden of Ray’s Auto body in Mokena, Illinois, and he used House of Kolor Jet Set black with DuPont clear coat that has crushed glass in it with three coats of clear over that.
