Yes, the motorbike world is hot on the FXR tip—so much so that guys with Dynas are wanting in on the action. Take for instance our project 2015 Harley-Davidson Dyna Lowrider, a.k.a. the “Daily Dyna,” with its BMC “FXRT” fairing and chin spoiler. We were searching for some excess baggage solutions for our commuting endeavors and spied a set of FXR Division’s “FXRP” bags. A single phone call was made, and a week later our pal Justin Coleman was at our offices and ready to slap a set on our bike. The FXR Division bags are beefier than the flimsy stock “P” bags, and they are also available with two different height tops so you can get more or less space depending on how much crap you have to haul around. The kit also comes with mounting rails and hardware for baggers, Dynas, and even FXRs. Imagine that!

Here is the kit as it comes from FXR Division. All the rails and hardware are top-notch and come ready to install.

The bag tops are much more rigid than the stock FXRP bags. And that’s a good thing.

Our pal Justin Coleman from FXR Division attaches the tops of the bags to the bottoms with stainless-steel hinges and hardware.

Unlike the stock FXRP bags, the FXR Division offerings hinge from the end of the bag. The bags do use the stock-style locks, which keep that classic “P” bag look.

The FXR Division bag mounting rails are a thing of beauty and attached to the bike’s stock fender mounting points, so no drilling is required.

Here is a shot of how clean and easy the bag mounting rails mount up to our 2015 Dyna Lowrider.

The left-side bag was then bolted to the bag mounting rails in three separate locations per side. This made for a very secure situation.

The FXR Division bag tops are available in two sizes. The stock-size offering is on the right, and the 2-inch-higher version on the left.

Once they were installed and tightened down to factory specs, the bags were ready to roll!
