Make That AZ Drop
Submitted by Aaron “Dub T” Kolodny | Gilbert, AZ
I absolutely love Hot Bike. To me it’s the number-one cycle mag in the industry hands down. I’m especially drawn to the Vicla builds. My 2010 Deluxe is one of the more lowrider-style bikes out here, but they’re catching on. I’ve got 16-inch apes, Deluxe hard bags, and Samson fishtails to complement the Screamin’ Eagle stage 1 kit. I also have white old-school grips, pegs, and floorboards. I will continue to keep Hot Bike near my throne for the best tips and inspiration as I start a new build!

Deucebag
Submitted by Hank Bennett | Rochester, MN
This is my 2004 Softail Deuce that I named “Deucebag.” It has a 95-inch motor with T-man performance crank, Procharger blower, and other engine work, including porting done by Millers Motorworks in Newfield, New York. Bennetts Custom Paint in Sayre, Pennsylvania, did the paint. It has a Memphis Shades fairing, and the bags are from a ’73 FLH. The bike was dyno’d at 170 hp and 150 pound-feet of torque.

FXR Trike
Submitted by Randy Briley
In 2014 I was looking for a good used Harley trike project. I found this 1989 FXR with about 1,000 miles on a completely rebuilt motor with a 2004 DFT Trike Kit with independent suspension. The old trike looked and sounded good but was in need of a lot of TLC. After only a few hundred more miles the engine blew. I replaced it with a new 113-inch Ultima motor, replaced the worn neck bearings, rebuilt the 2007 Deuce forks, front and rear brake calipers, replaced the front rotor, wheels and tires, starter, clutch, battery, speedometer, headlights and taillights, changed to a 1998 Road King fuel tank, added a Memphis Shades windshield, rewired everything, and the seat is from a 1948 Harley. The custom orange with gold ghost flames paint was applied by my nephew Dusty Briley at Briley’s Paint and Body. It took 12 months to complete this project.
