Readers Rides Revisited
The story goes as follows: TJ’s girl, Angelique, bought him the bike for Valentine’s Day last year. As they started riding together on a regular basis, TJ started falling in love with her Sportster that she had customized herself, and the jealousy started eating him from the inside. Not long after, he decided it was time for him to customize the Sportster. He wanted something that would not look like a Sportster, and that’s exactly what he did.
Spitfire Motorcycles worked two months on his vision, fabricating fenders, a sissy bar, handlebars, an air cleaner, a taillight, pegs, a headlight, grips, and pipes. All this and an Indian Larry dish gas tank sit on a chopped frame they fabricated as well. The vintage Firestone Cockers tires set on custom hand-spoked wheels by Spitfire too.
About $10,000 later she was ready, and she doesn’t look like any Sportster around. Angelique, who was responsible for this motorcycle in the first place, came up with the perfect name for her: El Coño De Grasa. If you don’t know what it means, Google it.

This bike was a stock 2006 883 custom with 1200 big bore kit when I got it. I lowered the rear, cut the rear fender, and raised the aftermarket tank 2 inches. Then I ground off the paint and airbrushed the skulls. Next, I made a bracket and relocated the coil and ignition switches. It’s a mix of used and new parts. I did all work myself in my garage. It may be low dollar, but it’s a blast to ride!
