Sturgis Rally-Goers Now Protected From What Mother Nature Dishes Out
Last year’s Sturgis Rally was disrupted by a devastating hail storm that caused damage to rally goers’ bikes, RVs, and cars. In fact, more than 900 storm related claims were reported to Progressive, 42 percent of which were motorcycle claims.
This year—whether it’s a parking lot fender bender or a blow from Mother Nature—rally-goers will enjoy Sturgis knowing they’re protected with on-site help.
The first and only rally drive-in claims center is going to be operated at the Buffalo Chip Campground at 20622 131st Avenue in Sturgis. Progressive customers and claimants can get their bike, RV, or car looked at by specially trained claims representatives who will assess damage—from dings and dents, to accidents and theft—and write estimates on the spot.
And like everything else at Sturgis and “The Chip,” Progressive’s trip to the rally is about more than just bikes. It’s also about great food and giving back.
The drive-in claims center is serving free coffee; and Progressive’s Corn for Kids booth—benefitting local Feeding America food banks—is serving hot roasted corn with all the fixings. The booth is located at the corner of Junction & Main Streets, behind the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum. For more information go to:
