Biltwell Bridgeport Gloves: Tested
The Biltwell Bridgeport glove is a stylish and protective riding glove that’s also comfy, lightweight and breathable.
We tested the Bridgeport over the weekend and we’re really digging the overall fit and finish. First off, the Bridgeport’s size is true. Medium is Medium. Next, the gloves are pliable without feeling wimpy. We like the elasticity of the wrist enclosure, easy on/easy off. The Bridgeport is also comfortable before it’s broken in. Sometimes new gloves are a pain to put on / take off because they’re incredibly stiff, not so with the Bridgeport.
The Bridgeport is pretty versatile; it’s breathable and lightweight but offers protection where you need it. The knuckle and fingertip outside armor is robust and durable. The Bridgeport even includes a tech fingerprint on the index and middle fingers. It sounds lame, but we ride with a phone mounted to the bars. Toggling through the tunes without taking your gloves off makes skipping songs or navigating GPS much easier. The price is also reasonable at $100 considering you’re getting the tech of a uber-expensive glove with the quality construction at an affordable price point. Overall, we’d recommend the Bridgeport for Spring/Summer/Fall riding weather.
