August of 2004 was the pinnacle of the TV corporatization of the “chopper.” Looking back, it’s easy to poke fun at the Teutuls, but keep in mind at that time it took the V-twin out of the small shops and garages and into every home in the world. This was also the peak of the magazine world where we could feature 38 custom bikes in a single issue.
