Describe yourself in three words.
Dedicated, professional, and most of all biker.
What do you ride?
I have a few, but I mostly ride my ’09 bagger, my ’73 FLH, and my rigid bobber.
What was your first bike?
A 1969 Honda CL450 and I still have it.
What is your all-time favorite bike?
My kick-only 1979 FX alternator/generator Shovelhead that is a tribute to my gramp’s 1929 JD.
Why did you choose to work in the motorcycle industry?
What better work is worth devoting your life to?
What is your greatest achievement?
Guiding my daughter in getting herself dual college degrees. A Ph.D in cardio physiology and a master’s in physician assistant sciences.
What is your biggest regret?
That I didn’t spend more time with my youngest brother who passed away at 51 years old.
What inspires you?
Young builders and fabricators who are following their dreams and taking care of their families at the same time. And of course my daughter.
Any last words?
Be yourself because an original is worth more than a copy. Work hard and play harder because you can always rest after you die.
